@geoinferbot brings GeoInfer to Telegram. Send it a photo and it replies to that photo with ranked candidate locations, GPS coordinates and a Google Maps link for each. No setup or API key needed.
Get started
- Open t.me/geoinferbot and press Start
- Send a photo. To keep full quality, send it as a file instead of a compressed photo
- The bot replies to your photo with up to 10 locations, most likely first
New chats get 1 free credit. Each photo uses 1 credit, and you are not charged if the bot cannot read the image or finds no location.
What you get back
Each result lists the place and country, the coordinates in lat, lon form and a Google Maps link. Send several photos and each reply is threaded to the photo it belongs to.
Supported formats are JPEG, PNG and WebP, up to 10 MB.

Buying credits
/buy sends a Stripe checkout link for 50 credits at $4.99. It is a one-time top-up, not a subscription. When the payment goes through, the bot messages you with the credits added. If the chat is connected to a GeoInfer account, the credits go to that account.
Connect your GeoInfer account
Connecting lets one balance work on the website, the API and Telegram.
- Sign in at app.geoinfer.com and open Settings → Telegram
- Click Connect. Telegram opens with the bot
- Press Start. The bot confirms the connection
Credits the chat had before connecting move to your account, so nothing is lost. Accounts on an unlimited plan see Plan: Unlimited instead of a credit count. One Telegram chat can be connected per account, and you can disconnect it from the same settings page.
Groups
Add @geoinferbot to a group, then have an admin send /group on. The bot answers photos posted in the group, and each photo uses the credits of the person who sent it. /group off turns it off.
Limits
- 5 photos per minute per user
- 20 photos per day per user
- 10 MB per image

Is the GeoInfer Telegram bot free?
Every new chat gets 1 free credit. After that each photo uses 1 credit. You can buy 50 credits for $4.99 with /buy, or connect a GeoInfer account and use its plan.
Does the bot need GPS or EXIF data?
No. It estimates the location from what is visible in the image, so it works on screenshots, forwarded photos and images with the metadata removed.
Can I use the bot in a Telegram group?
Yes. Add @geoinferbot to the group and have an admin send /group on. Each photo uses the credits of the person who sent it.
Can I use my GeoInfer website credits in Telegram?
Yes. Send /link or open Settings, Telegram on app.geoinfer.com to connect the chat. Your plan and credits then work in both places, and any credits the chat already had move to your account.
